Banned claims

let's talk ↗Healthcare • Dubai
Social media and patient enquiry campaigns for Dubai clinics and aesthetic centres, written within DHA advertising standards, so content builds trust without risking a penalty.
Marketing in the UAE
Dubai’s health regulator sets specific rules for social media advertising:
Superlatives and guarantees such as “the best”, “100%”, “no side effects” or “immediate results” are not allowed.
Content naming a facility should be approved internally (for example by the medical director), and facilities are accountable for promotional content, including by influencers.
Ads for surgical or invasive procedures should include clearly visible risk warnings, and fear-based messaging is prohibited.
Our India-based team works with UAE clients across a small time difference: India is 1.5 hours ahead of the UAE, so almost the whole working day overlaps.
Compliant wording by default. Scripts and captions avoid prohibited terms and comparative claims, include risk information where required, and go through your medical director's approval before publishing. General context, not legal advice. Check current requirements with the relevant UAE authority or your advisers.
Doctor-led education. Short explainers on treatments, suitability, recovery and myths. This is the content that builds trust in aesthetics and specialist care.
Before-and-after with caution. Only where genuine, consented and allowed for the treatment, with required context. In many cases explainers work better.
Patient enquiry campaigns. Meta and Google campaigns for priority treatments, with qualifying forms and instant routing to your front desk or WhatsApp.
Influencer collaborations only with permit-holding creators, briefed on DHA standards, because facilities are accountable for that content too.
