Google Ads

Google Ads management that captures real demand

Search, Performance Max and YouTube campaigns built around buyer intent. We focus budget on the searches that turn into customers, keep wasted spend in check, and make sure Google is optimising for the outcomes your business counts.

Where Google Ads fits

Meta creates demand by showing people something they weren't looking for. Google mostly captures demand that already exists: someone types a problem, a product or a service into Search and is close to acting. That makes Google Ads valuable for high-intent services such as clinics, admissions, real estate and B2B services, and for ecommerce brands with search demand for their category.

Where Google Ads budgets leak

  • Broad match without guardrails. Spend drifts onto irrelevant searches when negative keywords and conversion signals are weak.
  • Counting the wrong conversions. Page views or button clicks are tracked as conversions, so Smart Bidding chases the wrong thing.
  • Performance Max as a black box. Brand searches and retargeting get credited as new demand.
  • Message mismatch. Ads promise one thing and the landing page says another.
  • No lead feedback. Google never learns which enquiries became customers.

How we manage accounts

Intent-first structure. We group keywords by intent and value, not by every possible variation, and keep tight control of search terms and negatives.

Accurate conversion tracking. We set up GA4 and Google Ads conversions and enhanced conversions where they apply, and, where possible, import offline conversions so bidding learns from qualified leads or sales.

Performance Max with care. We use it where there's enough conversion data and creative, with brand and audience signals set deliberately, and we watch how much of its spend is incremental.

Landing page alignment. Each campaign gets a page that answers the search: same promise, clear proof, short forms.

YouTube works well for demand generation and remarketing when there's video worth watching. Often that's repurposed from our content and UGC work.

Google Ads is part of our wider performance marketing service and often runs alongside Meta Ads.

FAQs

Google Ads questions.

Should we use Performance Max?

Sometimes. It can work well with enough conversion data and good creative, but it can also take credit for brand and returning-customer demand. We test it deliberately and watch incrementality.

Do you manage Google Ads in our account?

Yes. You keep ownership of the account and all its data.

Google Ads or Meta Ads: which should we start with?

If people already search for what you sell, Google usually captures that demand efficiently. If you need to create demand or have a visual product, Meta often leads. Many businesses need both. Our guide on [Meta Ads vs Google Ads](/insights/meta-ads-vs-google-ads) explains the trade-offs.

How do you reduce wasted spend?

With regular search-term reviews, negative keywords, intent-led structure, accurate conversion tracking and landing pages that match the search.
